The athletic programs offered at both Gainesville middle and high schools serve our young people in capacities that go far beyond final scores, trophies won, or banners hung. While the latter three items mentioned are both spoken-of and attainable goals for each of our programs, Red Elephant athletics has always been about a greater purpose, largely because of the support given by the Gainesville community. That support, from generation to generation, Red Elephant to Red Elephant, ensures Gainesville athletics maintains its tradition of excellence and remains a force.
