GAINESVILLE - Three athletes, one coach, and a total of four state-championship winning teams were honored Saturday as the Gainesville Athletics Hall of Fame inducted its sixth class at the Gainesville Civic Center.
Honorees included state championship-winning football coach Bruce Miller, former football player and small college all-american Ronnie Wilson, three sport all-state selection Katie B. Davis, two-time wrestling state champion Bo Wren, the state championship girls basketball teams of 2001, 2003, and 2004; and the 1949 state championship baseball team.
