BUFORD - Kharim Hughley passed for 142 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for another score, to lead Gainesville to a 41-14 win at Seckinger Friday.
Nigel Newkirk led a Red Elephants (6-1, 3-0 Region 7-5A) run game that stomped to 248 yards with 113 yards on 14 carries and a touchdown. PJ Lewis had 78 yards on eight carries and a touchdown.
Philip Williams and Cameron James each had receiving touchdowns.
Big Red defense held Seckinger to just 24 yards passing and kept the Jaguars scoreless through three quarters.
Gainesville, the sixth-ranked team in Class 5A, returns to action at third-ranked Milton on Friday.
