Gainesville volleyball won its second-straight Thursday as the Red Elephants beat Flowery Branch in straight sets of a best-of-5 match (25-14, 25-16, 25-14).

Senior setter Avery Lindsey led the way for Big Red (9-5, 1-0) assisting on 29 points while also contributing eight kills, five digs, and three aces.

Kyndall Butler (pictured) had 12 kills and six digs, while Prentice McGarvey and Lily Grace Clay combined for 21 digs.

Gainesville returns to action Thursday hosting Chestatee and Habersham in a tri-match at the Student Activities Center. Game play begins at 5:00 p.m.
